We've been suppling firewood for 10 years now. As a minimum its cut the previous winter and stacked in the woodland until we can extract it and process it. Its cut to 9inch long so should go in most fires. We have regular customers and we try to make sure we can supply them through the winter, although stocks can be getting low during February.
The firewood comes in ex National Trust heli bags containing about half a tonne of wood and I can carry 2 bags on my trailer. The only benefit of the heli bags is that its quicker for me to shuffle them round and load them onto the trailer, I've still got to handball them off on delivery. 2 bags £100, 1 bag £55.
